FAQs
We understand your time is valuable but try to leave yourself enough time to arrive and park at the venue. Details of parking for each venue is available when booking your class.
Please try to arrive at the studio 5-10 minutes before the class starts to ensure you can settle on your mat and so we can begin (and finish) class on time. Please note, if you arrive more than 2 minutes late for a class you may be locked out, this is for security reasons and to avoid disruption of the class so please try to be on time.
Wherever possible please keep personal belongings to a minimum as storage is limited, basically only bring the essentials to class. Ensure all mobile phones and smart watches are silenced so you can really switch off and enjoy your practice.
The Stillhet Yoga community is growing and very special to us. We want everyone who comes to class to feel safe and supported. Please be respectful of one another.

Absolutely yes! But be patient with yourself and try not to compare yourself to others. Yoga is a wonderful practice to increase your body’s stability, mobility and strength so that you’ll feel the benefit of increased range of movement. This is also combined with all the incredible benefits for your nervous system.

At Stillhet Yoga, we understand that life happens so if you need to cancel or reschedule a class please do so as soon as possible via the booking system. Late cancellations (8 hours or less before start of class) or non-attendance are non-refundable. Classes cancelled more than 8 hours before the start of class will be eligible for a refund. This enables us to manage our class sizes effectively and offer available spots to others who may wish to attend.

Comfortable and breathable clothes that you are able to move around in are ideal for Yoga. We recommend leggings, shorts or joggers and a t-shirt, vest top and sweatshirt. We practice yoga barefooted, so no need for fancy trainers.

Yoga mats and props are provided but please feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Bring a bottle of water with you too.

This can really affect how you feel as you move on your mat. The general advice is that a large meal should be eaten at least 2 hours before class, or wait until afterwards. If you feel like you need some energy then a small snack 1 hour to 90 minutes before class is good. Always hydrate well before and after class but avoid drinking lots or water during class as all that fluid in your stomach can make you feel uncomfortable as you move.
